for the longest time, i thought my sister was a lost cause; her favorite bands are linkin park, good charlotte, and finger eleven. it was looking bleak, but then i found out she bought a ben folds five album and that she is a fan of the all-american rejects (i don't care for them, but it's a step in the right direction). normally when i'm listening to music, she'll ask me how the hell i can stand it, but recently she has commented positively on cursive and death cab for cutie. i told her i'd make her a cd of music she should be listening to. i didn't want to put anything too inaccessible on here, as i'm probably already pushing my luck with most of these songs. a lot of this is either what i was listening to two years ago or what i should have been listening to. i decided to put that smiths track on here because one of her favorite books is the perks of being a wallflower. if anyone is reading after all that, the title is a busey-ism. everyone should watch i'm with busey because it is the greatest show ever.
