Comment:
a friend had been telling me how much he liked a mix i made for him, and i was itching to make a sad mix, so i decided to make a themed one: what would you want to listen to if you felt as if there was nothing good coming around the next turn? what if you felt like nothing was going to change and you were stuck in this hell the rest of your life? what would it feel like?Feedback:
Uncle Tupelo + Eels? Hell yeah they'd be licking at my ear-drums in such a situation. This is a neat take on the depression theme, since I tend to think that part of depression mixes is the implication that things will actually get better. To concoct a bleak present pointing downwards... now THAT is depression. Good job, in a sick way. Out.
might I inquire where you got the Mark Oliver Everett track? (I am a devoted and major fan of Mr. E) nice mix otherwise.
i am listening to this cd right now and it's doin the job. fucking awesome mix, ses.
You don't get much sadder than that Mountain Goats track.
