Comment:

This is a classic 60's mix...with a couple of early 70's songs thrown in there. I made this for my mom who made a tape like this back in the 80's but lost it or something. Honestly, I would've picked "Go Down Gamblin'" or "You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood Sweat & Tears, and a better song by 3 Dog Night...maybe "Out in the Country" or "Joy to the World"...at least we got the one hit wonders on there though...Come on Down to My Boat being the best example. Best song on here is undoubtedly Daydream Believer or It Ain't Me Babe, though Along Comes Mary ranks up there as well.

this is not bad at all. I also made a oldies mix as well called Return To Blueberry Hill. You should check it out.

Wow, you have great taste and there are hardly any oldies mixes on this site (there should be a genre category for it, too). And funnily enough, "Daydream Believer" and "It Ain't Me Babe" (specifically the Turtles' version) are not only MY favorite songs on this mix as well, but undoubtedly so. They are far and away the best. We might be soulmates, A.D. 69 ;)
