Comment:
More fun for the hell of it. Title from the Orange Juice song. Revised 7-23-04.Feedback:
Cool as biscuits on sunday morning, Rob.
over here it's sunday evening but it's a coll mix anyway
Very nice choices. I'm perpetually amazed at how popular the White Stripes have become. I think they're amazing, of course, but generally the record buying public doesn't agree with me. Then their record debuts at number 1. The question is, are people really getting tired of cookie-cutter music and looking elsewhere, or is their popularity just a fluke, an exception. And which one would I prefer? I really don't know.
great ending
Oh, you'll always be man enough for me, Rob. Great job. Cool trax from XTC, OJ, MBV and GS-H
Very nice, Rob. I'm with zachrobbins on the ending there. Great picks all around, as usual. Fantastic.
tremendous mix, Rob. Especially like the dr John, Searchers and Spirit pix.
lotsa of great tracks. Pearls Before Swine--awesome, also can never go wrong with the Cramps and Buck Owens.
some great picks, rob.
Super stuff, Rob. In particular, I love the XTC and Orange Juice songs. And a mix with Half Man Half Biscuit included? That just warms my heart!
Looks good. This mix would serve me well as I suffering from major weariness (late night excess and jet lag) and running on something around 12 hours sleep since Thurs.
I was just about to put that Searchers song on a mix - cool.
Great mix. Great fun for the hell of it...esp pearls before swine, dr john, gil scott-heron, xtc, etc.
Fantastic start to this mix. I had picked the Donovan track for a mix too. This is very cool.
This looks fantastic!
Very cool. Love the Half Man Half Biscuit -> Ball and Biscuit bit.
Thanks, everyone. To Curtis: :-D I'm glad that someone caught that. First of all, the songs work really well in sequence, but yes, it was intentional. To Adam: I think the White Stripes thing is a fluke, although I wish Jack & Meg all of the riches in the world before the listening public reverts back to their previous ignorance.
Love it.
6 - 13 is great, 17 - the end is absolutely killer! Great.
Damm Fine Mix!
I never knew your output was this tasty.
