I've started to play around with single artist mixes, and since The Ataris are one of my favorite bands, I figured I'd post this mix first. The first I heard of The Ataris was "San Dimas High School Football Rules" on the Fat Music 4: Life In The Fat Lane comp. I don't know what it was, but that song just struck a chord with me about a special girl I'd lost a few months before. "Song For A Mix Tape" orignally appreared on "Let It Burn" as a 30 second song, and just isn't as fun as the version on "End Is Forever". The acoustic version of "Looking Back On Today" was released on the Warped Tour 2001 comp, and I'm not sure why, but it inspires more emotion in me than the version on So Long, Astoria.
