I've got a bit of a fetish for any music that comes out of Seattle (well, Washington State)...it just seems to sound better. Anyway, this is an attempt to show that while there are some great grunge bands to come out of seattle, the seattle music scene is more than that...from surf rock to straight pop. There are some notable exceptions to the above list...most notably, the fastbacks, young fresh fellows, and the only grunge band with the label of one hit wonder...candlebox. Originally, this was gonna be a cd of music recorded in seattle and songs about seattle as well as bands from seattle, but there are just too many. I may get to that in my next mix...
