Comment:
This is a C90 of songs recorded from John Peel's show during Jan and Feb 1987 that turned up at the bottom of a box recently. It's not bad. I don't know if I'll ever play it again, I'm not into nostalgia (ooh you liar!) and who plays cassettes these days?! Though I would like to hear that Frightwig song again...
Not knowing the full artist and title details upsets my pathetic attempt to exert some sort of control over the music I listen to, and so the inclusion of that version of 'Shop Around' that I still don't know who it is by, remains an itch I can't scratch.

Feedback:
A cool artifact, and very a propos for AOTM. Peel's shows have always been exemplary mixes of music, relatively free of the strictures of genre. I remember listening to him here in the States on the World Service during the late 70s and early 80s. I couldn't imagine at the time that anyone could have such an omnivorous taste for music. He's my hero. Check your media-driven programming at the door and open your ears and your mind!
