this mix has a couple of stories behind it. one, i wanted to make something nice for myself to listen to at the end of the summer. sort-of an early birthday present, if you will. it was meant to summarize and chronicle the events of the summer (i.e., happiness at finally seeing my boyfriend again, the taxing nature of having two jobs, the taxing nature of riding my bike 7 miles every day to one of my jobs, etc). that only seemed to take up one side. so i made an entire side dedicated to the story of emotional fuckwittage and heartbreak that is my relationship with one of my closest male friends. see if you can pick out the story. it's pretty much a boy-meets-girl story...but...with a few twists and turns and sprained ankles.

le sigh. this mix is basic fare for me, but i really like it.
