Great idea for a disc. I would have killed for a disc like this when I was little - anything would have been better than the Three Screwy Woodchucks (or whatever that ripoff Chipmunks record my mom bought was) album I heard so much as a tot. So many of these I would not have thought of for a little kid, but seeing them all together I think they're all great choices. Great job.

nice mix/cool idea...I've been recording a program off the air,
The All Ages Show[link], for my 6 & 7 year
olds every Saturday since June. Pattie, the host, plays some really cool kid's tunes, but will
also play themes and including Van Halen (Ice Cream Man) Lou Reed (Wonderful World),
Peter Gabriel (Big Time), etc., as well as call in requests; each show includes a
story-time too.
...gives us something that we all can listen to in the mini-van while running weekend errands.

Hey, you might wanna look at this mix I made for my new nephew. It's pretty good. It's got different stuff than this, but still the same intent. Nice mix!
