bloody beautiful, top to bottom. that television track kills me.
Ditto on the Television, and nice Minutemen too. Great stuff.
Very cool and ballsy track listing. Yea-haw on the Simply Saucer, Neubauten, and Television. And I don't know what " Jackie Chan is a Punk Rocker" is other than a damn great title.
I bet this goes down much better than bromide (which I had to swallow once). Looks excellent from start to finish. (And do drop me a line, will ya?)
interesting shifts, six by seven to lindsay looks cool as well as heavy vegetable to sleater kinney, i love simply saucer, nice one
I'll ditto all the Simply Saucer fans, and that Talking Heads from a true fav' LP of theirs.....,also the Lone Rhino!
Great stuff.
Very cool selections... too many to mention except that pere ubu tune and animals. Nice.
So many favorites here! Glad to see Simply Saucer is back in circulation. Now I'm anxiously awaiting the Television remasters.
I love the way you link one song into another Curtis. Sort of like a psychiatric word-association type thing. Hell, I'm talking crap, but this mix is another winner, methinks. Heavy Veg, Sleater-Kinney and Talking Heads among others.
simply saucer!!! they fucking rule! i don't know that song tho, is that that single they did in like 78, 79 that is supposed to really suck.
