Nice final set list. Can't say I'm familiar with everything there (which certainly piques my interest), but from tracks I know this looks like an intriguing direction.

Hey Gene, nice to hear from you on the sub.terra project! I'm learning the kid costs quick as well. We Just had a baby girl 7 months ago. You might as well kiss 40 bucks goodbye every time you walk out of the house! I forgot about Lisboa. It is pretty fast indeed! Glad you like the build up to it. I thought it was quite the Depeche Mode ending. : )

Don't know much about any of this, but I'm sure it's fantastic -- besides, you're always leaving nice messages on my mixes with cool links and scrolling text. The best I can do is a happy face :)

Stunning Gene. Both volumes. The Eno through Tibbetts and Eno/Wobble through Cornelius look especially tasty.

More tasty morsels...can see the traces of your brassy theme here. Love that Spinner album (ever noticed one of the same patches appearing on Tortoise's Standards?).Intrigued by that Cornelius ending too (btw were you aware of Taylor Dupree's new Happy label?)

Gary--haven't heard "Standards"--but eno drops part of the Spinner
sound on a Gyroscope various artists disc entitled "Future Perfect", changes
the drum track slightly and gives it a different title; he does the same thing
with another Spinner track on his album The Drop again using a different title...
which I think is pure bullshit and cheating from any artist of his stature.
You're prompted to buy the disc because of a "new" work from the man and vastly disappointed
to find out that's it's a "re-tread", : (

I mean...the Stones might modify, or jam, using a different bass riff on
Honky Tonk Blues...but I don't think they'd try to pass it off as being a
different song...

Brilliant! Took this one out kayaking Sunday; couldn't decide if it was: a) an alternate soundtrack to Blade Runnerb) selections from a jukebox circa 2300c) radio hits from a post-lingual universe
