Comment:
my friend just broke up with her boyfriend of 2+ years and said how she wished she could go in her car and listen to Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah over and over again but she has way too much work to do. so of course i had to make a mix for her in her time of need... please let me know what you think, i really appreciate the feedback!Feedback:
well, that's exactly what I'd do if I broke up with my boyfriend. *gasps* I shudder the thought! anyways. I love Jeff like nobody's business, and perhaps the best gift for her is just a copy of his 'Grace' record. that WHOLE thing is frighteningly theraputic. oi. and those Counting Crows and Smashing Pumpkins songs both make me cry like there's no tomorrow. very effective! *claps*
Seriously i love this mix, if you ever trade I would like this one. Not a bad track on here and the flow is solid. Hope she feels better.
oh christ, i love this.
I find it ironic that just yesterday someone put 'Colourblind' on a romantic-themed mix, + now here it is on a break-up mix. I find that particular song more appropriate in this case, but whatever. That Elton John song makes me think of "Almost Famous" + that poor sweet Penny Lane getting the cold shoulder so she turns to the Quaaludes instead. Now THAT'S sad. Beautiful therapy here. Out.
beautiful, beautiful mix :)
I agree with Dru on the Elton John track... I adore that song. What a beautiful, sad little mix you have made. Bravo.
seriously gorgeous, great work!
