Comment:

Don't ask me what the hell I was thinking when I put these tracks together. It's broken up into little mini-sets: some garage, some surf, some trash, some kookiness, all rock and/or roll. In my mind, it all makes sense. Recently, I started dj-ing at a nearby bowling alley and this represents some fave plays from my last show. Fun stuff, to be sure. I like to think of this as music they might have played as the Titanic sunk. And by the way, a very happy "Talk like a Pirate" day to you all. I just saw this great movie - it's rated ARRRRRRRRRRR.....

Wow! DJing at a bowling alley. Does life really get much better than that? No, really, I'm serious...

Looks like you rolled a strike, Sean. I might even take up the sport if my local pin hall was spinning tunes like these. XXXXXXX-cellent!

Well, shiver me timbers! Next thing you know, you'll be dedicating this mix to Roberto Clemente! Couldn't help but laugh at the idea of "The Ottoman Empire" and "Love Child" in the same breath...Great, great stuff, as always...

must be a progressive bowling alley - the only thing i ever hear at a bowling alley is rap and watered down r&b (not that there's anything wrong with that) great mix

Awww, the omniscient v-man copped my gutter line. And you're welcome Sean. I think "Real Wild Child" has to be one of the greatest lesser known rock 'n' roll songs ever.... right up there with "Black Slacks". Excellent work again. Keep 'em rollin'!!

Very cool Sean. If they played stuff like this at the local alleys I would consider picking up a ball again.
