Comment:
Basically, I just compiled the best songs from the soundtracks of the three films Wes Anderson has made (those being: Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, and The Royal Tenenbaums). Not too much thought when into it, but it's lovely to listen to on the hour bus rides to and from university everyday, especially during the autumn season.
Feedback:
Nice!
this is great. i love was anderson films. they always have a good soundtrack.
Oh, I love this a ton. Wes Anderson is my absolute favorite director. Extra points for using Max's smashed bike for your cover art.
wes anderson is the reason over and done with is on my mixes these days.
lovely. i adore wes anderson and his soundtracks.
Great concept and lots of great songs. Good work!
Needle In The Hay...that song is so amazing.
I teach at a school which reminds me a great deal of Rushmore - every once in a while I run into a budding young Max Fischer. His films are really great, as is the collection of tunes here.
that emmitt rhodes song is awesome awesome awesome. i just picked up the lp for $1 at goodwill! total score. his sixties band was called 'the merry-go-round' and if you ever see it, pick it up becos it's worth loads. :)
