Comment:
A vaguely autumnal & folky mix for Peter Millar. Mostly made up of things that I like very much but which he probably wouldn't bother with otherwise ... including some songs by people I know he hates ... Is this a commendable fighting-the-good-fight-and-defying-expectations thing, or an irritating making-people-listen-to-crap thing? I don't know. I want a CD burner. *wail*Feedback:
you haven't posted in awhile, I see. but what a nice mix this is, peter is lucky. :) cheers.
Cheers there, Adam...mmm, David Gray. You have been audacious indeed. I shall listen with an open and interested mind, though I am slightly miffed that you seem to have discovered Damien Rice before I had a chance to say "Adam, there's this here Irish bloke whose musics I think you'd maybe quite like..."
And believe me, CD burners ain't all they cracked up to be. You get at least ten minutes less tuneage than on a tape, and I happen to know that digital recording levels were devised personally by the Prince of Darkness hisself.

Some ideas I had for collaborations :
1) Cara Dillon joining Belle And Sebastian, in the Isobel role. Well, they're both on Rough Trade now, yeah?
2) Sarah Cracknell and Sophie Ellis-Bextor form new witty and stylish pop duo, Blonde On Blonde.
