I dislike family gatherings in a kind of sarcastic, laid-back, amused way, so this is my attempt to keep sane over the 48 hours i have to be in the presence of not just my parents but my grandparents and aunts and uncles too, 200 miles away from home, my friends, pubs and in one of the only black spots in network coverage there is in the UK.
