Comment:

Notes: A number of people have written and said some very kind things about other of my mixes and thanks to all of you! oneloudbitch, I think I'm in love with ya... this mix may seem a tad repetitive-- it was meant as a gift and never got where it was goin, but I'm proud of it. I violated a 'rule' and used an artist twice on the same side, but the GGR filled some needed space, and I feel free to break my own rules. This was a 60 min. cassette, which I rarely use, but the great thing about country and bluegrass is you can cram a ton onto a 60 min. tape... See y'all.

Last year I went to a festival featuring all kinds of "new country" schlock (I won the tickets so...)but thrown in the middle was the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and they were unbelievably great!!!! Keith Urban had to acknowledge that "those guys came out to remind the rest of us how country music's supposed to be done!"
