yeah i'm pretty sick of reading about the whole dance-punk revolution. but i'm pretty sick of new music in general. all of the good bands in 2003 just sound like some band from 1977-1982. anyways i still love the post punk sound, and it hasn't really went anywhere. it's just now getting some attention thanks to people with stupid haircuts and sports coats dressing like rejects from a Duran Duran video.Feedback:

I used to think that same thing about music. Radiohead vs. coldplay . The hives stealing from the 60's and the new bomb turks. In the end It doesn't matter. It's just music. Party on. As for stupid haircuts and sports coats hipsters can and will always grate the nerves. The yeah yeah yeahs and le tigre cuts are awesome. The rapture,q not u and les savy fav are also well rounded . Great mix for a genre I am only begining to notice.
The best song on here is Disco Drive, and anyone who disagress is gay. Or a whore.
i'm not sure whether you like this music or not but i'll give you my opinion (whether you like it or not) the only GREAT band on here is the liars, it's arguable but i think they're fucking great whether or not they sound like gang of four (keep in mind only gang of four has only one arguably great album, solid gold i'm not too fond of), the walkmen moving units interpol and french kicks are all just way way too derivative to have any artistic credit but they're all good bands and make some really good music which is the real meat of the issue-le tigre has their own thing and so does LCD soundsystem, the rapture is one big fucking rip except for your chosen song and house of jealous lovers but maybe they'll be like the cure and pull out a really great song every couple of years, radio 4 just blows really really hard and q and not u and les savy fav have their own little take on it, as for the rest i don't know what to say, ex models are a good laugh and are fun but numbers!!!?????? yeah yeah yeas!!?????????? it's all so goddamn phony i may as well just listen to fucking anti-clear channel, anyway...i'm sure you have some opinions
sure it's all been done, but it's still being done well. grrrreat mix. a couple bands i'm not familiar with i'll have to check out (futureheads, numbers, french kicks). good show.
