Comment:
This mix is for a lovely and eccentric girl I now live 20 hours away from and miss terribly. It's lush and symphonic and quixotic and fizzy.Feedback:
wow this is pretty cool, like the artwork, a lot!!!!
i must say that i'm truly impressed. i've recently picked up a obsession with the french language so i can't do anything else than love this mix. i especially applaud your use of "j'y suis jamais allT" as an opener. and you can never go wrong with amelie from montmartre on the cover!
Yes, yes...I too am obsessed with all things French. This girl who the mix is for has recently become obsessed with Amelie...and she reminds me quite a bit of Amelie, in several ways.
Anyway, it's not like every song on the mix is in French or has accordians...but each song that isn't/doesn't has SOMETHING about it that connects it to all the other songs...synthesizers, strings, etc. It's one of my favorite mixes I've made in a while.
Thanks so much for your compliments!

Very well thought out mix. I also am intrested in French pop. Are you down with Francoise Hardy, B Bardot,Lisa Elroy and all the other kitchy ye ye girl pop from the 60's?
Somewhat...but not as much as I should be. But "kitchy ye ye girl pop from the 60's" has Belle's name written all over it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
