Great mix! They are one of my favourite bands ever and its good to see that someone actually is aware of and appreciates their music before the green album!!! Good stuff
Actually, Bitey, there are plenty of us out here who consider their music before Green to be the only music that matters. (Ok, fine, they had some fine moments thereafter, but nothing that comes close to the unrivaled joy of Murmur and Reckoning, the twin powers that dominated my college listening experience back in the day.)
This is when REM was the best band in the world!! Superb!
Im not disputing the fact that there are people out there who condider their music before Green to be great. What I meant was that in the shithole where I come from, people call themselves fans of the band but could'nt name you one album from the good old IRS years.
