Comment:
I know I'm a little late for National Coming Out Day, but I hope you can forgive me. This is just an odd little miscellany of queer songs, attempting to lean a bit toward the more antique end of the century. A lot of these songs are on several of my other mixes, 'cause I like disseminating such things to the unwary, but here they are all together. Three tracks are taken from an *excellent* album called "Tipping the Velvet", which you've gotta get if you're at all interested in old-time queer music hall.Feedback:
Brilliant cover, greta idea, great selection. I've long wanted to collect a set of oldtime gender-benders like the Marlene Dietrich numer here - if I ever do I'll send it your way . . .
Yi yi yi! That would be fantastic. Lili Marlene is my perfect woman. (Rrrrrowl!)
