Comment:

this is probably the fourth or fifth time i've tried to make a gorky's best of, but for once i'm fairly happy with the results, even though the three tracks i added from their most recent album knocked out several great older songs (diamonds o monte carlo, naw e pimp, morwyr). 80 minutes cannot possibly do this band justice - only one track from the brilliant spanish dance troupe, and it's not "the humming song"? i neglected both patio and bwyd time too, to say nothing of the last-minute omission of "the johnny cash lawsuit song." i fell for this band when i was sixteen and probably won't ever fully recover.
