Comment:
The essential Crowded House (singles, album tracks, rare tunes) compiled on a 110 min. cassette. I know that chronological order is boring but I can't stand when "best ofs" are sequenced otherwise. Anyway, I made this tape for my pal Steve, who bizarrely is a fan of Neil Finn's solo work, but has never heard a note of the House! That just will not do. Let me know if you think I've missed out on any classics.Feedback:
I've a lot of time for CH. One of the reasons CH never really made it mega however can be found in 'She Goes On', a contender for one of the best songs I have ever heard - except someone decided a crap Mariachi band was needed in the middle. Cruel.
I cannot believe "Into Temptation" is not on this mix.
might I say, I am very jealous that you were born in the same hospital as mr.tweedy! (I know, that's insane isn't it?) oi. wonders never cease. I'm glad someone else likes UT as much as I do, and thanks for the comments. I feel I've gotten my midwestern education through music! (having only been there twice, and had bad experiences through no fault but my own...) cheers.
my first impulse was to chastise you for not including "Pineapple Head." but you've got "Nails in My Feet," so it's all good.
