Comment:

Right, so I guess it's rather obvious that this is my shoddy attempt at combining Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac. I'm just starting to get into this Radiohead thing (who is this kid, indeed), and while I can sit through OK Computer and Hail to the Thief pretty fine (I don't dig Pablo Honey or the Bends quite nearly as much as these four), there were some songs on both Kid A and Amnesiac I just didn't like and skipped over, and this was my attempt at rectifying that, while at the same time having only to lug around one CD rather than two. I guess if you're, like, a huge Radiohead fan you'll burn me in effigy for ruining some masterpieces, or something, or maybe not. I don't know. I don't know if this can even be considered a mix, I just wanted some feedback on maybe how I can improve it. There's no real method to the way the tracks are laid out, I basically just did it by track number on each CD and if there were two tracks of the same number I ordered them chronologically, though I think there's some deviations from that. Whatever. I never claimed to have any knowledge of how a CD should flow, but it sounds pretty okay to me. I wanted to call it "Kid Amnesiac," but that sounds like something out of a Grant Morrison comic book, not that that's necessarily a bad thing. I also thought about calling it "Morning Bell" because there's that connection between the two albums, with the two versions of the songs, but, uhm, that seemed kind of weird because I only had the one version on the disc. So I just drew little pictures of the little characters from both albums on my CDR. I called it "Everything in Its Right Place" here because everything's not in its right place... just to prove I can be an ironic hipster. *hyuk* So... feedback would be ginchy.

For some reason, it took me a while to get into The Bends, too, but in time, you will appreciate it as much as I and we all do.
