My friend Jess is far and away one of the nicest people I know. I mentioned to her not too long ago that one of my all-time favorite artists is Ben Folds. Two days ago, after working a fourteen hour day, she called to tell me that she'd seen an ad in the DC Post announcing that Ben would be playing at GW University. She asked me if I wanted to go. When I said "of course", she surprised me even further by saying "That's really good, because I already bought us tickets".

As if that's not cool enough, she's barely even ever heard Ben Folds. Her former roomie owns "Whatever and Ever, Amen" and plays it in the car sometimes. So it's only fair for me to make a mix of all my favorite Ben tunes. I deduct points from myself for forgetting "Cigarette" to go with "Fred Jones Part Two" and "The Secret Life of Morgan Davis", but nothing's perfect. I still love these 19 tracks.
