But REM? No, no, no! However, lots of other good stuff to compensate for it (RHP + a stunning Beatles track, especially.) Everyone is sad in Heaven sometimes; all the good stuff's down below. Out.

Good mix, good sentiment. Always nice to see some Chills, a rare find on AOTM. I realize you were (thankfully) trying to avoid the maudlin, but I might've opted for some less sunny tracks by these artists (i.e. Wilco's "How To Fight Loneliness," Kinks' "Where Are They Now" or "Sitting in my Hotel", Replacements' "Here Comes a Regular", Lennons' "God." Just my two cents.
