Ah, excess! I used a 110 minute tape for this sucker and still only put, what, 21 songs on the thing? Ah, well. Made for a girl who likes bluesy stuff and I wanted to stretch out and let some jamm-y shit rip, especially that Kenny Wayne Shepherd/ Willie Nelson take on " Texas Flood." The Black Keys don't sound like a couple of skinny white geeks from northern Ohio, but they are. " Passing Sad Daydream" never fails to remind me soul Asylum used to be a prodigious band before Dave Pirner started hanging out with movie stars and went to Hell...
