Comment:
like most people my age who care about music Nirvana was one of the first bands i ever really loved. thankfully Kurt Cobain was interested in talking about the bands that influenced him more than he liked talking about his own band. as a 14 and 15 year old i searched record stores all over for the bands that he name dropped, many of whom i would have proabbly never cared to check out. anyway this is a compilation of some of my favorites.Feedback:
awesome. motw in my eyes.
Great idea. Some of the bands I was already a fan of at the time but I am grateful to Kurt for turning me onto the Vaselines. After i heard their cover I rushed out to buy the album. I'm surprised you didn't put the Meat puppets on here, he was a major part of their resurgence. I never knew that Kurt talked up Young Marble Giants.
great stuff.
ahh shit. i totally forgot the meat puppets didn't I? alright that's it. time to throw this one away and do it again.
Awesome mix, can i get a copy of it?
