this mix of songs is horribly intentional. it's not exactly what you would call happy, but even after songs like "mad world" and "metarie", it's nice to know that "you've got a friend" is on it's way. that was the idea taking place here: that after all the sh*t, there is always a light at the end. plus "hey julie" was a song that i KNEW i wanted to start a mix with ever since i heard it.
