Comment:

a nice symetrical tape of semi-pastoral gentle and cold sounding sounds. Having been resolute in my ability to tune out of my dad's collection of late sixties folkrock i was a little unnerved and contrite when i accidently heard Pentangle and got sickeningly into them - it's osmosis i tell you. however i still think Fairport Convention suck being neither rock nor folk; neither fresh fish nor good red herring. But Pentangle are yum. acousitcal jazzy multi-vocal folkpop loveliness. they make me think of stereolab. oh, i guess i should stop using that Savath + Savalas tune or microblip sequence but it's useful for transitions and i like it. thanks to myke for Do Make Say Think, Murcof, Why?, The Books And Sonic Youth, My mam for John Cameron's Kes chunk and my dad for the old TV theme tune....

Have to agree and disagree - yes to Pentangle but no to Fairport Convention...difficult to dismiss Sandy Deny's voice..Kes wot a great soundtrack..they just don't make em like that anymore..thumbs up to Dylan and Peebles!
