Comment:
For 'Kella whose CDs were stolen from her car in Atlanta a few years ago.Feedback:
This also looks excellent. Beck, Air, Dismemberment Plan, AND more? This mix makes me quite happy.
That White Stripes' song's presence on this mix makes me laugh and giggle. At the same time even. I was in Elektra's offices today; they had many copies of Mermaid Ave. Those hoarding motherfuggers.
This looks great
I LOVE that you made me a mix tape. I love Al Green and Lucinda Williams and Beck and yes, Neko Case. And for the record, my CDs, all $1000 worth of them (probably more), will have been stolen exactly a year ago mid-December. But thanks to you, Kristin, my mom, crazy new friend Mary, I am now the proud owner of said mix tape, The Definitive Collection of Lionel Richie, Jack Johnson (On & on), Dido (ugh, the new one...not that that makes it any better) and some other unmetionables. FYI: The ATL thieves didn't want my white boy Philly Soul, read The Best of Hall & Oats. Shoot. That's good crap.
oops, unmentionables...sticky iBook keyboard.
