When the shit happened... I moved Sunday. Ostensibly, it was a good thing. A bigger place; a better building. I can look out my front door and see a park, now. Of course, derelicts a nd crackheads sleep in the park, but it still has grass and trees. Still, change freaks me out at the best of times and moving is always hard.

I celebrated surviving my move by hooking up the stereo, uncrating the tapes, brwing up a pot of coffee and making this tape. Very much of a piece with its brother, " School", you can always tell when I have new CDS, because the songs show up all over my mixes for a while. As I've said before, I get in ruts and come back to the same voices to say certain things I need to say. Word to whomever: Rhett Miller's solo album may well eclipse his Old 97s work-- I think it does, anyway.
