Some of my favorite songs on this CD- the smiths "that joke isn't funny anymore" is some of their best work. The backup singing in cat power's "good woman" gives so much feeling into the song, i think it's interesting that she chose children to backup the pieces about love as in pure innocence- and men to backup the pieces about giving up love for honor. Listen closely, you'll hear it. I also adore the REM song, and I saw Bangs downtown last week, and that was one of the songs they played! Sorry this post is getting so long, but it's such a great CD. I'm definately going to have to burn this, and the follow up. Check out my "yellow mix", it's similar.
