Comment:

I figured out that there are basically only ten Queen songs the radio always plays: "Killer Queen""Bohemian Rhapsody""You're My Best Friend""Somebody to Love""We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions" (ALWAYS TOGETHER)"Fat Bottomed Girls""Bicycle Race""Crazy Little Thing Called Love""Another One Bites the Dust""Under Pressure" (with David Bowie). My goal, as I saw it, was to create a Queen mix using none of these songs. Unfortunately, as I predicted, I still had too many songs I wanted to use. What can I say? I love this band.Ergo, I apologize if one of your favorites wasn't on here... you can only fit so many nine-minute "epics" in eighty minutes of space. Sacrificing "March of the Black Queen" was hard. Ditto "Seaside Rendezvous," but that didn't really fit anywhere. (The first album, by the way, was the hardest to pick for. So many good ones. And "News of the World" isn't represented, just because.)(Oh, and before you ask: my '80s Queen albums are at home. I know there'll be the inevitable "Where's 'Princes of the Universe?'" or such, but eh. I'll create a Best of '80s [and on] mix.)
