Comment:
I've been checkin' out all my old Hendrix albums today, most of which haven't seen the light of day for at least a decade and what a day it's been. Discovered that my taste in Hendrix has changed beyond recognition to what it used to be. This cassette doesn't physically exist just yet but I kind of like the flow, it startsmellow and then grows full on. The title for the mix comes from Blues,Blues one of the few tracks with vocals on it, though I didn't set out to do a largely instrumental mix, it just happened; The last track is awesome completely trippy, the uninitiated would never know it was Hendrix.Feedback:
i could listen to Jimi strumming a broomstick, which I believe he did in the early days when he couldn't afford a guitar. Driving south is a killer track.
Wow... you really do like obscure Hendrix... which is actually really awesome. I like the fact that most of this tape is balanced between his bluesy side + his groovy-trippy side. It's essential Hendrix.
