My friend and I, when we shared a flat used to have occasional "Listening Parties" when we'd sit up to the early hours, pull music out of crates/boxes/whatever and play it for each other.

I'm off to visit him next week, first time for a little while as he's now moved out/married/settled down so this is partly a portable version of some of the music I've bought since I last saw him (with a few curveballs thrown in) and partly a memento for myself in tribute to those nights sitting on the floor in our shared living room, drinking red wine and playing records.
