i love "giving up food for funk"!! seriously. ever since i first heard dr. ice sample it in his song "nobody move" (which is what? 1989?). that little guitar refrain can't be beat. and that's only the first track! like r. kelly says, this mix is "so funky / you'll think somebody farted."
(yes, that's an actual r. kelly lyric)
