I meant to use Cher's Bang Bang as I woz sick to death of seeing Nancy Sinatra's version nailed to mixes....I didn't coz I liked the contradictory flow from Byrds to Cher and although I hate, nay detest mix rules....especially ones found in Nic Hornby's Hi Fidelity, I decided to limit Cher to just the one. And yes I do like Cher much to the chagrin of my friends...! Tracks considered: Wayne County & The Electric Chairs Waiting for the marines, Jefferson Airplane Plastic Fantastic Lover..yup it could go on...!

Another great mix, and a great Cher pick. I'll admit that I like the Cher track, and a few others of hers, namely "The Sun ain't gonna Shine Anymore." Lots of great picks here- "Sherry Baby" by the Four Seasons might have fit, but probably wouldn't flow well at all. Great photo of her, too :)

You have no idea how cool this is to me. I dig Cher as well. It used to be a secret shame, but it's all out in the open now.
Interesting stuff. You being a Cher man, have a gander at my Sonny Bono tribute from a ways back. I like Cher, too, but pretty much only the 60s/70s years. The track you chose is pretty catchy, though not really my thing. Many great songs on this here mix, that's for sure. That Byrds song is one of my all-time favorite songs, period.
dom, you make really lovely mixes. a mix for ms white, and now this. amazing. and congrats on not using the nancy sinatra version of bang bang, as beautiful as it is, it's been in overkill since Kill Bill came out.
