Comment:

In brief....I thought it would be fun to see wot Holly Golightly (no, folks not Holly of Meg & Jack fame) had on her jukebox during Audrey Hepburn's peak period as a Hollywood Filmstar..I've started at 1956 (her first major film is 'Roman Holiday 1953) and stopped in 1967 when she stopped acting for nearly 10 years....so, this is really a mix for Holly Golightly but I think Audrey herself might well have mamboed or dun the twist to some of these....I left out The Beatles, Stones etc and leant torwards Swing, Easy, Lounge, Jazz and of course Elvis....enjoy!

Yet a gain ,a great mix. And a nice to theme to work off of, whcih you executed top notch. This looks like a killer soundtrack to a great period film. I love the Manicin pick and add me to the "Yeay Kinky Boots" list.

This looks even better than vol 1. Great theme. I have Roman Holiday on tape, and have been meaning to see it (again) soon. What a princess! Is the Route 66 the original from the television show? That is fantastic! I like the actress series you are doing. I am waiting with great anticipation to see what you do for the Sharon Stone party mix (at her Basic Instinct character's pad)

Kudos up and down this list...I love this stuff! So sophisticated and elegant...Makes me think of a 50s goddess in high heels and an evening of cha-cha, which is another story altogether!

Wow! This could start a whole new mix movement. Imagining the mixtapes of heros and heroines. As for you, you obviously have the knack with late50searly60s cocktail parties! Mint.
