Comment:

Note: Apparantly X is just not cool enough for any good indie rock artists to use...so it's not there. OH WELL.
This mix is too big to fit on a CD, so I logged it under mp3 playlist. But, you could replace some of the songs there with shorter ones by the same artists, or what ever other artist you think should be in that place.
Here are some other artists that are probably as good or better than the ones in their respective places:
A: At the Drive-In, Archers of Loaf
B: Built to Spill, Beck, Ben Folds Five, Belle and Sebastian
C: Cap'n Jazz, Casket Lottery, the Cure
F: Flaming Lips
G: Get Up Kids
I: International Noise Conspiracy
L: THe Liars, The Lemonheads
O: Owls
P: Piebald, The Pixies, The Promise Ring,
S: Seam, the Smiths, the Stooges, Sunny Day Real Estate
T: Thursday
W: the Walkmen, Waxwing,

i love that ozma made this cd and how they're never cool enough for anyone (except me) to say that they're indie rock. nice going.

Nice Mix. Although I like Cursive, I think you're going to have to make another alphabetical list with the bands mentioned in your note and make sure that it's The Cure this time!

this would be toght to compile...i can't believe that you picked Bright Eyes over Built to Spill though...too many preppy kids at my school abuse poor Conor. Very happy to see Unicorns and MM, and for the toss up between Pixies and Pavement, way to cleverly include Frank Black in there somehow. Also, how in the world is Guided by Voices left for Grandaddy? Excellent mix though...good concept.

Eh....I like Xiu Xiu myself, but I don't really consider them Indie Rock.

I don't really conider X indie rock either. And call me ignorant, but I have not heard of XTC. I shall look into it, however.
