the second tape for t, made many mondays ago ... that second monday - can i remember? pfffft ... the tape was painted all white with birds trapped in a tomato red-inked cage, wound round with silver thread. it said: "THERE IS ALWAYS A POEM TO BE WRITTEN ON THE BIRD WITH ONE WING" ... a chart from the larousse illustrated dictionary {1899} glued to the cover, underneath all the spindly silver threads. we matched on neutral milk hotel.
