Comment:

This year's entry in my best-of double CD series to send to friends. I try to leave out singles whenever possible, but "2 + 2 = 5" and "Signals Over the Air" were too compelling to omit, I though. EHM-DC-002

Hmm interesting idea. I definitley liek the mix, although I hate the thermals with such a terrible passion that you cannot begin to imagine. Oh well. I liek the inclusion of Cave-In and Ozma.

the thermals are fun. that's the only zwan tune i can still stand. great broken social scene, radiohead and postal service picks. looks like you have a pretty broad taste... in my experience, people who listen to brand new, thursday, linkin park and the ataris generally stick to that sort of thing.

and um... there was a new paris texas album this year?? where was i??

Fucking Awesome cover and title. That piece-of-shit series has been just waiting for a parody. Great songs too!

Jeff -- PTx had a new EP out this summer. It's called "Action Fans Help Us!," though I think some sites still list it with its original, pre-release title, "Are You Ready." I was never that big a fan before, but I saw them open at the Dismemberment Plan's last Milwaukee show and was blown away. The first three tracks on the EP are great, IMO; the last two are good but not spectacular.
