Comment:

I took a look at Rolling Stone's Greatest 500 Albums of all time about a week ago, and flawed as it may be, it has many of the essential albums in the top 20. So, I picked my favorite track off 18 of them, leaving out only Miles Davis' Kind of Blue and Elvis Presley's Sun Sessions because I didn't have enough room. Elvis' Sun Sessions didn't belong that high up anyway. It got really tough to pick a favorite track on all of these, especially The White Album, Highway 61 Revisited and The Velvet Underground. In the brackets, the number is where the album ranked on the list, then the name of the album, and what year it came out. Personally, I thought Who's Next and The Doors should have ranked in here, and Highway 61 Revisited definitely belongs above Pet Sounds and Revolver, but that's only my opinion. Enjoy, as it was a challenge to pick many of these songs...there are just way too many great songs on most of these albums.
