Made for a friend I haven't seen in years, who has been locked in a folk music only cacoon for almost a decade now.The named comes from the only bad line in an otherwise perfect Magnetic Fields song.

the mountain goats picks are both genius, especially golden boy which is just ecsquisite (however you're supposed to spell that) and so much else to love - wow and great and wow.

What?! I can't believe I missed this. "Golden Boy", "Papa Was a Rodeo" and the Jonathan, 'Mats and John Prine songs are ALL in my top 25 favorite songs ever. And I know Sally Timms covered one Handsome Family tune, so am I right to assume that "Drunk By Noon" is also a cover? Because that's also in that top 25. I cannot believe how many of my favorites are here. Great, great, great.
