Comment:
designed for myself for the last two weeks because i'm not going to let myself forget. i can't let myself forget about any decision i've made. i bent some rules--namely, the no-repeating-an-artist rule. this comes in where i use gram parsons roughly three times on the tape (a solo song, a submarine band song, and a flying burrito brothers song) and when i use mark kozelek's work twice (sun kil moon AND red house painters) but i don't really care since this will probably never leave my hands. i just really like the transitions and i enjoy these songs as a set. plus, "switchboard susan" is a hell of a way to kick off a b-side, i think. (ps. "cracking up" by the jamc is not the same "cracking up" as featured on "labour of lust" only a few tracks after "switchboard susan.")Feedback:
god, i've made a lot of this kind of mix.serious props for the use of metric.
man, there are so many good songs on here. i love this.
incredible mix. that no repeating artists rule is bs anyway
