OK, OK, I've gotta major jones for Xmas music -- from the sublime to the sappy, the righteous to the ridiculous. It's not the religious aspect of the holiday that appeals, and certainly not the commercial. It must be the sheer nostalgia ...... the ghosts of Christmases past. That and the pure jaw-dropping, mind-altering variety of Xmas music. I ask you, where else can Commander Cody, Leontyne Price and Der Bingle peacefully coexist on the same mix?? On a more personal note to my AOTM friends ..... I've had a lot happening in my life lately and my visits to the site over the past few months have been sporadic. I know I've missed a bunch of great mixes and that I owe several of you e-mails. I hope to get to them in the next couple of weeks. 'Til then, I wish you all Peace, Health, Joy, and Happy Holidays .... however you celebrate them. Let's hope for a better 2004!
