Comment:

So, there's this guy. We're not together, but we are. There are things that prevent us from being completely "together" at this moment. This CD is the story of our relationship, thus far. It starts out as the beginning of our relationship, where is was just flirty, not serious yet, though we liked each other. Then it starts getting into the, dare I say, sexual side of things. Then it goes into addressing my current, conflicted feelings about our relationship. Then it's me basically asking him to overcome some of the fears he has about our relationship and to trust me. It ends just desribing the hopes I have for us and how good I do feel about him. These songs say a lot of what I'm not strong enough to say. Musically though, I think the mix is kinda a generational collection of soul and R&B, with some blues and funk thrown in. It took me a while to make, I hope someone appreciates it.

"We're not together, but we are." Wow. For a minute, I thought you were me, talking about my situation. Holy God. I understand, I emphathize.
