I think you've caught catchy! That New Pornographers, FoW, GBV, Marc Carroll-(!!!), the Cosmics, Beulah, Brendan, and the Rooney are all just that. The others I've not heard but have to assume, judging from the company they're keeping, are all just as "catchy". Good stuff.
Many faves here (new Pornographers, Quasi, Brendan Benson, FoW, etc). And I think that is THE catchiest song GBV ever wrote - I have a hard time putting anything else from that album on a mix because it's so damn catchy!
