My year in music (2002). My first year lived entirely in Maine, and the genesis of my taste in folk music. Saw Greg Brown a couple times in November, and it changed my entire view of music. Note second appearance of "Mississippi", following Sheryl Crow's version on the 2000 disk. Also, discovered a *strong* theme of loss and redemption weeks after finalizing the CD and mailing it out.
