Comment:
This is a Hannukah gift for my father who LOVES music but has somehow never progressed much beyond 1985. I'm trying to provide him with a quick introduction to what he's missed in the rock world in the 20 years since then. Some of these songs are pretty standard mixtape fare, but when your own father, who introduced you to rock 'n' roll, who saw Elvis in concert, who played (and lost) a game of ping pong with Janis Joplin-- when that same man has NEVER HEARD RADIOHEAD because they are TOO MODERN, by God you have a DUTY to put "Fake Plastic Trees" on CD for him (This rule goes for the Smiths, too. In case you were wondering).Feedback:
way to do your civic duty. i salute you.
Wow. Ping pong with Janis? Can your dad be my dad too?
